I’ve had the privilege of being a member of the Governing Board since 2017, on which I serve as Vice Chair and as Chair of the Board’s Resources Committee. I’m very proud to work with and support our school, its children and its staff.
As for my day job, I’m a Civil Servant at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy. In recent times, I’ve been a negotiator on the UK’s trade agreement with the European Union, and am currently focused on the implementation of that deal. The Civil Service supports its people in volunteering in their communities, and I’ve been keen to make the most of that at our school. My career has pretty much always involved providing scrutiny, analysis and advice, which I do my best to turn to the benefit of Loughborough Primary School.

I joined the LPS Governing body in November 2018, and since then have worked with the rest of the board and the Senior Leadership Team through a number of significant changes that the school has undergone. Within the body I sit on the Resources Committee - a group of governors with an emphasis on the financial and budgetary aspects of the school's operations.Professionally, I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and work as a Consultant at KPMG, focusing on strategy and business operations. I live locally to the school with my husband and young son.I am very proud to be part of such a diverse and committed body of governors and to work with such inspiring staff members and leaders, who consistently put the wellbeing and development of the LPS children at the heart of everything they do.

I am passionate about supporting the education and wellbeing of children in my local community and I am proud to do this as a member of the Loughborough Primary School local governing board.
I currently work for a children’s charity that provides and campaigns for school breakfast provision, where I am the Impact, Research and Data Manager. As a result, I am familiar with the education sector and have found this knowledge invaluable in my role as governor.
As a governor I work to ensure that the school is providing a good quality education for all pupils at Loughborough Primary School so they can reach their full potential.

I joined the LPS governing body in September 2024 and I am currently the SEND Link governor. I look forward to working closely with our head teacher Graziella Williams and our senior leadership team.
I was a primary headteacher for 5 years, prior to that I was an Inclusion Deputy Headteacher and before then a SENDCo. It has been such a great privilege to have had the opportunity to work with children and families over the years; and after over 30 years of teaching, in several Lambeth and Southwark schools, I retired in 2022.
I have lived locally for many years and am excited at the prospect of being to be able to support my local primary school. I look forward to working alongside the LPS govenors and The Charter Schools Educational Trust to secure outstanding outcomes for our children and families through the provision of our inclusive education.

I have been part of the Governing Board since 2016 and am proud to work for our school and support the ongoing development of our children both academically and personally. I’ve spent most of my career leading Business Operations/Strategy teams in both very large and small companies and find the skills learnt in my professional life are of benefit to my role as Chair of Governors Loughborough Primary School. I work closely with our Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team to offer supportive challenge to their decision making, always ensuring we are putting the interests of the children at Loughborough Primary School first.
