Loughborough is the best! - written by our Head boy and Head girl

At Loughborough Primary School, we absolutely love the special events that make our school so exciting! One of our favourites is International Day, where we get to learn about different countries and their cultures. It’s so fun to try food from all around the world and dress up in clothes from different countries. We also really enjoy World Book Day, where we get to dress up as our favourite book characters and talk about the books we love. The teachers are fair but strict, which helps us stay on track and make sure we’re doing our best. The teachers teach in a fun way that helps us really understand the lessons. We’re always rewarded for positive behaviour, and the rules are really clear, so we know what’s expected of us. Our school values guide everything we do, and they help us make good choices.  We always feel supported by all our adults including our Teaching Assistants who take care of us in class and in the playground, making sure everyone’s happy and safe.

We also have lots of opportunities to take on leadership roles, like becoming house captains, joining the school council, or being well-being ambassadors. It’s so cool to have a say in things at school and to help others. There are so many clubs to choose from, and we can’t wait for Roller Skating Club to start!  Coming to school every day feels great—it’s like a second home, and we feel like we’re part of a big school family.
