We are a school in the middle of something exciting. Since joining the Charter Schools Educational Trust, we have been reimagining what a primary school in Brixton can look like - opening up possibilities, deepening our curriculum and building a community where every child feels they belong.
Our curriculum is ambitious and inclusive. We want children to think critically, ask bold questions, solve problems and leave us with a genuine love of learning. We know that the most powerful learning happens when it goes beyond the classroom - which is why we invest in experiences, trips and enrichment that stay with children long after they leave us.
Above all, we believe that children learn best when they feel safe, happy and known. My team works hard every day to build the warm, trusting relationships that make that possible. High expectations and genuine care are not in tension here - they go hand in hand.
