Welcome to the Nursery
Our Nursery at Lougborough Primary School offers a caring, stimulating environment where children thrive.
We focus on each child’s curiosity, confidence and development — tailoring learning around their needs and interests.

We focus on each child’s curiosity, confidence and development — tailoring learning around their needs and interests.
Our nursery helps children develop the confidence, independence and curiosity they need for a smooth start to Reception. Through play, routine and supportive relationships, children learn to communicate, follow simple instructions, build friendships and enjoy learning so they leave nursery feeling happy, capable and ready for the next step.

Our nursery welcomes children from the age of 2. We offer funded 15-hour and 30-hour places, depending on eligibility and availability. Children usually start in September, though earlier places may be offered if one becomes available.

Full-time children are with us five days a week, 8:45am to 3:30pm.
Part-time places are offered over two and a half days, with Wednesday as a half day. All children aged 3 and above are entitled to 15 hours of free early education.
Extended hours are available at an additional cost - please contact the office for current rates.

Applying is simple. You can register your child from the age of 2 by completing our online admissions form or collecting one from the school office. Applications for a September start close in mid-March. If your application is unsuccessful, your child will be placed on our waiting list. Our office team are always happy to answer any questions.
