Reception go on a penguin adventure
Reception have had a busy and exciting week learning all about penguins and polar regions through the story Blue Penguin and lots of hands‑on exploration. The children became Antarctic adventurers, building boats and airplanes, wrapping up warm, using phonics to label penguin pictures, and sharing the many facts they discovered. They also explored cool and warm colours, creating beautiful collages with their own Blue Penguin drawings, making it a wonderful week of creativity and discovery.
