Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic day at Brockwell Park, combining outdoor exploration with some delicious cooking. During their visit, the children learned about the plants and produce grown in the park's gardens, including rhubarb, before harvesting ingredients and making their own rhubarb crumble. Alongside this hands-on experience, they explored the gardens, discovered more about growing food sustainably and developed their understanding of where food comes from. The trip was a wonderful opportunity to bring learning to life and create some tasty memories along the way!
