Computing

Confident responsible users of technology

Computing

Overview

Our computing curriculum gives children the skills and confidence they need to thrive in a digital world. We want pupils to understand how technology works, use it safely and creatively, and develop problem-solving skills that prepare them for the future.

How we teach

We follow Kapow Primary's structured scheme, which covers all national curriculum requirements for Computing. Lessons are carefully sequenced and include a mix of practical activities, games and real-life applications. Children learn coding, digital literacy and online safety in an engaging way.

Impact

By the end of primary school, pupils are confident, responsible users of technology. They understand key computing concepts, can create and debug programs and know how to stay safe online. These skills prepare them for secondary school and the digital challenges of the modern world.
